A short discussion meeting about HLP Project Activities held today, 15th September 2021 at 4:30 pm in the office room of Director General of NILG with Ms. Corinne Henchoz Pignani, Deputy Head of Cooperation, Embassy of Switzerland in Bangladesh. Mr. Sydur Rahman Mollah, Program Manager- Democratic Governance, Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Ms Yana, Replacement representative of SDC in Place of Mr. Mollah, HLP Project Director Mr. Borhan Uddin Bhuiyan, Ms. Manika Mitra, Deputy Project Director of HLP, Mr. Imranur Rahman, Assistant Project Director of HLP, DR. A. K. Sharifullah, Project Manager of HLP along with other HLP PMU Officials present in the meeting.

After self-introduction of members present in the meeting Ms. Corinne Henchoz Pignani informed that Mr. Sydur Rahman Mollah is leaving soon SDC and so another representative will be assign to his place to continue the activities and she introduced replacement representative to NILG and HLP PMU. After wards Ms. Manika Mitra gave a short presentation on the progress of HLP project activities and about future implementation strategies of HLP field activities. Director General, NILG Mr. Saleh Ahmed Mujaffor briefly highlighted about the virtual workshops conducted for the last two weeks about involvement of District and Upazila Administration (through DDLG and UNOs) in the HLP project implementation and also about the steps of validation process of identified good and best practices of HLP. The Deputy Head of Cooperation, SDC shows her satisfaction about the progress of HLP project output so far and opined that the process will continue in the same way. She informed DG, NILG that a workshop will be organized soon based on the findings of MTR and seek participation of all concerned in the workshop. Lastly DG, NILG thanked Deputy Head of Cooperation, SDC for her visit and interest about the HLP project.
