Mid-term Evaluation Team of “Institutionalization of Horizontal Learning Program in Bangladesh” Project visited good practices of Rajshahi and Chapainawabganj district.

A Mid-term Evaluation Committee is being formed by NILG as per TAPP guideline of the “Institutionalization of Horizontal Learning Program in Bangladesh” project to evaluate HLP project activities. The evaluation committee members recently visited the Shilmaria Union of Puthia Upazila of Rajshahi district on 22 July and Parbotipur Union of Gomostapur Upazila of Chapainawabganj district on 23 July 2022 respectively. They practically observed the good practices “Arrangement of normal delivery in a community clinic and van ambulance service for pregnant women” in Rajshahi on 22 July and “Managed Aquifer Recharge System” on 23 July 2022 in Chapainawabganj district respectively.

Members participated in the visit program from evaluation team were Md. Mohiuddin Quaderi (Joint Secretary) Local Government Division, Chairperson of Midterm Evaluation Committee, Mr. Abdul Khaleque, Joint Director (Research and Planning, NILG), Ms. Manika Mitra, Deputy project Director of HLP & S. M. Ruhul Abrar, Learning & Advocacy associate of HLP project and program manager of DASCOH Ms. Israt Jahan also joined in the visit program with Mid-term evaluation team.

The entire visit program was facilitated by HLP Deputy Project Director Ms. Manika Mitra.
